BITES & BOOS

Privacy

Bites & Boos is a private annual gathering. This site is operated by TSF Inc. on behalf of its hosts. It is not a commercial service, it has no customers, and it sells nothing.

What we collect

When you reply to an invitation we record what you tell us:

  • your name
  • whether you're coming, and how many people are in your party
  • what you're bringing, if you say
  • any note you add
  • your mobile number and your text-message consent — both optional, and only if you enter them yourself

If you consent to texts we also store the moment you agreed and the exact wording you were shown.

Who can see it

The hosts see everything you submit, through a password-protected admin area.

One thing worth knowing: your name and the dish you're bringing are shown to other guests who have replied — that's the potluck list, so nobody brings four bowls of the same thing. Your phone number, your party size, and your note are never shown to other guests.

Cookies

Two, both strictly functional, both set by us, neither used for tracking or advertising: one that remembers you entered a valid invitation code, and one that remembers you have replied so the potluck list can be shown to you. There is no analytics or advertising tracking on this site.

Who processes it for us

Vercel (hosting), Supabase (the database), Resend (email), and Twilio (text messages). They process this information only to provide those services.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else.

Text messages

Texts are sent only to guests who ticked the consent box themselves. A host cannot opt you in. Reply STOP to any message to stop them. Full details are in our SMS Terms, and our Terms cover use of the site.

How long we keep it

Responses are retained only as long as needed to coordinate this event and the hosts' records of it. Ask us at any time and we'll delete yours.

Your choices

Email richard@techsolhq.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, stop the texts, or have your response deleted entirely. No form, no account — just ask.

Children

This is a private invitation to adults and their families. We don't knowingly collect information from children directly; a party size is just a number of people.
