Bites & Boos is a private event hosted using services provided by TSF Inc. (tsfresno.com), the registered sender of any text messages sent from this site.

Program

Bites & Boos — a private annual gathering. TSF Inc. operates the messaging for it.

What we send

Day-of details, timing changes, and reminders for the event you have replied to. Nothing else. We never send advertising, and we never message anyone who has not asked us to.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. In practice this is a handful of messages in the days around a single annual event.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation and then nothing further.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How we collect consent

Guests receive a private invitation containing a code. After entering that code they reach the event page and reply to the invitation themselves. On that form, a guest may optionally enter their own mobile number and separately tick an unchecked consent box. Neither the number nor the consent box is required to reply to the invitation, and the box is never pre-ticked. Hosts cannot opt anyone in — only the guest can, from their own reply.

The event page sits behind that invite code, so it is reproduced here in full. This is the exact wording shown beside the checkbox:

Submitting the RSVP does not require a phone number or consent; messages are sent only to guests who check the box.

Step 1 — bitesandboos.com/enter. The invitation gate. A guest enters the code from their invitation. There is no opt-in here, and nothing is collected.
The invitation reply form: name, whether you are attending, party size, what you are bringing, an optional mobile number, and an unchecked SMS consent checkbox carrying the full consent wording, followed by an optional note and the Send My RSVP button.
Step 2 — bitesandboos.com/event. The reply form behind the gate, in full. The mobile number is marked optional, the consent box is unchecked, and neither is required to send an RSVP — the form submits without them.

What we record

When a guest ticks the box we store their number, the fact that they opted in, the moment they did, and the exact wording they were shown — so a consent record can never point at copy that was written later. The stored wording is:
